Saffron production in South Khorasan province

According to the Birjand reporters’ club, Hadrabadi said that 35 percent of the Qa’en saffron would be exported to foreign countries, adding that there should be great efforts to globalize the province’s saffron.

He added that the province also has a special position in the production of products such as almonds, pistachios, pomegranates, almonds, almonds, cumin, olive and cotton.

Hadrabadi said: while there are no new jobs due to the lack of conversion and packaging industries in the province, agricultural products do not have the added value.

The head of the Jihad-e-Khorasan Agricultural Organization said the presence of poultry and dairy farms in the province, especially the turkey, ostrich and zucchini, is one of the other powers of the region, which exploits this facility, which has led to the development of the agricultural sector in the province.

Hadrabadi announced the activities of 50 percent of South Khorasan population in the agricultural sector and said: agriculture is the most important factor in the economic development of the province.

He pointed to the development of the agricultural sector working group and said: “Currently, the agricultural development and payment facility development plan has been re-established in the agricultural sector of the province in the framework of this boom.”

He noted that these facilities are low-interest and are spent in the production sector and other agricultural sectors of the province.

Hadrabadi pointed out that South Khorasan is at an early stage in agriculture and faces numerous problems, adding that buying agricultural products, setting up the processing industry and insurance of agricultural products is one of the most important demands of the province’s farmers.
