Bagheri added: “Saffron fields are currently located in Khazal and Farhestan Nahavand, and the cultivated saffron can be found on the ground for up to seven years and can be grown together in gardens and other crops.

He said: There are more than 15 people working in the field of planting and harvesting saffron in Nahavand, and this number is increasing on the harvesting days to 40 people, because its good profitability and low fertility have made this product an alternative to other products. He added: “In recent years, close to 50 hectares of Nahavand farms cultivated saffron and various herbs such as artichokes, artistic shades, spring flowers, flowers of Mohammadi, garlic, saffron, lamb and chicory, which farmers enjoyed high profits and Their value is very satisfied.
Bagheri said: this year 5,500 hectares of land in the city of Nahavand went under cultivation of edible and medicinal coriander, from which more than 11 thousand tons of coriander seeds were produced and harvested.
