Cultivation of saffron in 17 hectares of Mahneshan lands
Reza Ajamloo stated: Predicting alternative cultivation is a suitable way to increase productivity along with reducing water consumption.
The director of Jihad-e-Agriculture of Mahneshan city, referring to the cultivation of saffron in Mahneshan city, stated: The area of saffron harvest (dry stigma) from their home farms is 17 hectares.
Referring to the fact that saffron is called red gold, he noted: The income of this product in the city is more than 270 million tomans.
Ajmloo announced the production of saffron in Mahneshan at 45 kg and added: the cultivation of this product in Mahneshan city has created employment for 35 people.
The director of Jihad-e-Keshavarzi of Mahneshan city, referring to the welcome of the residents and the suitability of planting medicinal plants in this city, emphasized: the producers need serious support from the government.
