Beginning of saffron harvest from 10 hectares of Golpayegan farms

The director of agricultural jihad of Golpayegan city announced the beginning of harvesting saffron from 10 hectares
of fields under cultivation of this product in the city.
Haidar Ali Golmohammadi stated:
with the beginning of harvesting saffron from 10 hectares of land under cultivation of this crop,
it is predicted that 5 to 8 kg of saffron will be harvested from each hectare.
He also referred to the cultivation of barley in the farms of city and added:
barley cultivation in the farms of Golpayegan city is underway and the improved seeds have been provided to the applicants.
He said:
Potato harvest has started from mid-October from the cultivated farms of this crop in city
Referring to the potato cultivars in Golpayegan, Golmohammadi stated:
The potatoes cultivated are from Agria, Diamon, Nilva and Ramos cultivars.
