53 kg of saffron is harvested from Sistan and Baluchestan farms

Ardeshir Shahraki stated:
18 hectares of farms in Sistan and Baluchestan have been planted with saffron.

The head of Sistan and Baluchestan Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization stated that saffron cultivation has started as a pilot
in 5 hectares of farms in the province three years ago, and continued:
with the arrangements made this year, another 13 hectares will be used for saffron cultivation farms in the province.

He added:
About five to 10 kg of saffron are harvested from almost every hectare of farms under saffron cultivation,
but in the first year, because the work is a pattern, not much is harveste.
Cultivation and development of saffron farms will continue for the next 2 years in Sistan and Baluchestan farms

Shahraki said:
Saffron is a subtropical plant that irrigates the land after preparation and after a few days of fertilizing the land,
