Bakhorz Agricultural Director of Agriculture said the farmer has 3 hectares of saffron cultivated land and he has harvested an average of 38 kg of saffron per hectare.
According to Agricultural Jihad of Khorasan Razavi, nowadays, from every hectare of land cultivated in the province, usually three to four kilograms of grass, and finally up to 8 kilograms of dry saffron are produced.

It is worth mentioning that one kilogram of dried saffron is harvested from each 100 kilograms of saffron flower. Khorasan Razavi is the harbor of saffron production in the country and the world.
