Export of 51 tons of saffron in Khorasan Razavi province

The head of the Khorasan Razavi Industry, Mining and Trade Organization named the export of 51 tons of saffron and its powder worth
$ 155 million in various packages as the most important export of the province in the first six months of this year.

Ali Safarzadeh, quoting the public relations of the Khorasan Razavi Industry, Mining and Trade Organization,
stated that more than $ 924 million worth of exports have been made from the province in the first six months of this year, adding:
Percent and in terms of value has grown by 16 percent.

He said:
out of 1256 tons of goods exported during the mentioned period,
more than 805 thousand tons are related to 10 major commercial goods of the province.

Safarzadeh stated that the export of saffron, which is 4,000th in weight and 17% in value,
6.3% in steel products in terms of weight and 9% in terms of value,
1.2% in terms of weight and 7.5% in terms of value in total exports The province has had a share in the mentioned period, he added:
in addition to these goods, all kinds of cement, paints, bread and sourdough, potatoes, sweets and chocolates, tomato paste and puree,
pistachios and pistachio kernels are the most important commercial goods of the province, respectively.

He said:
64% of the total exports of the province in the first six months of this year in terms of weight and 55% of value are related to the above ten items.

Safarzadeh added that Spain, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan,
China and Uzbekistan are among the province’s export target countries.
