End of saffron harvest from 18 hectares in Farsan city
The director of Jihad Agriculture of Farsan city announced the end of saffron
harvest and the desired result of cultivation and harvest of this crop.
Ebrahim Shirani, pointing out that in this Farsan city,
18 hectares are under saffron cultivation, of which 12 hectares are fertile, added:
the average yield per hectare is 2 kg of dry saffron.
He said:
According to the desired results, people applying for medicinal cultivation,
can be delivered to the rural financial institution via
the operating organization of the agricultural sector to obtain facilities.
for 6 to eight years.low water requirement,
relative resistance to harsh climatic conditions,
growth in sandy and clay soils,
ease of product storage, and easy transportation are other special features of this product.
Farsan city, with a population of 94,000, is one of the seven cities of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province,
the center of which (Farsan city) is located 35 km from Shahrekord (the center of this province).
