Cultivation of more than 3800 hectares of saffron in Lorestan
The horticulture director of the Lorestan Agricultural Jihad Organization announced the planting of more than 3800 hectares of saffron in the province.
Alireza Ahmadvandi stated: The Research Center and the Agricultural Jihad Organization are supposed to cultivate 3848 hectares of saffron in the province in 7 years.
He added: In this regard, about 5 million tomans of government expenses and 20 million tomans of facilities have been considered.
Ahmadvandi pointed out: Thyme, which is one of the medicinal plants in Aligudarz, 9 tons and 280 kilograms were harvested more per hectare, of which 3780 kilograms were dried.

He pointed out: Denaei thyme was also harvested 4530 kg in the early years, which will double in the future.
Ahmadvandi stated: In the first year, 1274 kg of Mohammadi flowers were harvested from one hectare, which was dryland with supplementary and irrigation irrigation.
