Beginning of saffron harvest from 170 hectares of Natanz farms
Abdolreza Mehdi Badi stated:
In the second month of the autumn season,
the city of Natanz has taken on a different atmosphere and the harvest of saffron or red gold has begun in this month.
He added:
Saffron harvest has started from 170 hectares of farms in Natanz city
and will continue until the end of November.
Director of Natanz Agricultural Jihad, stating that the largest share of saffron
production in the city belongs to the city of Torqorud and surrounding villages, clarified:
it is expected to harvest 8 kg of dry saffron per hectare of farm,
in which case the total saffron production in this city to Will reach more than one thousand and 350 kg.
He pointed out:
Despite the drought and reduction of water resources in the city,

Mehdi Badi said:
Natanz city is the first pole of saffron cultivation area in Isfahan province
