The area under saffron cultivation in the province is 420 hectares and in 1399, 1,400 kg of saffron was produced in Lorestan,

in the saffron sector, any applicant or investor who comes to us is supported by the public sector and there are no obstacles in this regard.

The director of conversion and food industries of Lorestan Jihad Agricultural Organization stated:
for the development of saffron cultivation and medicinal plants,
three licenses have been established and three principal agreements have been issued in this regard,
two with a capacity of 93 kg and another with a capacity of 70 kg. Received exploitation.

we have issued three licenses, one of which has resulted in a license.
