The area of saffron cultivation in Ahar city increased to 13 hectares

Mohammad Asadi stated:
Wheat has been cultivated in about 28,000 hectares of agricultural lands in Ahar city this year,
and despite the increase in wheat prices; We were able to buy about 16,000 tons of wheat from Ahri farmers.

He added:
Some farmers did not use the seeds they had to sell at a high price, and on the other hand, they put pressure on the agricultural jihad of the city,
which was supplied and cultivated in time around the divine power of the seeds needed by the agricultural sector of Ahar city.

The director of Ahar Agricultural Jihad, referring to the significant increase in the price of fertilizers, said:
Our colleagues have taken action so that we can use other fertilizers, and after research and investigation;
They introduced fertilizers that were in line with the needs of the agricultural sector and expensive fertilizers
so as not to have a negative impact on agricultural production.

Asadi announced the change of wheat seeds for the first time in 30% of agricultural lands of Ahar city, said:
to increase the quality of wheat and flour for the first time, seeds of Azar 2, which was cultivated in Ahar city for a long time,
should be provided to 30% of wheat cultivated lands. In the field of agriculture,
we did not allow wheat purchased from unspecified seeds to be purchased in a guaranteed purchase.

The director of Ahar Babian Agricultural Jihad reminded that until last year,
saffron was cultivated in only five hectares of agricultural lands in Ahar city:
the amount of saffron cultivation in city has increased to 13 hectares and we have made plans to increase the area under saffron cultivation.
