Referring to the fact that saffron research is effective in treating depression and control of Alzheimer’s disease and psychiatric disorders as much as commonly used chemical drugs, Saffron added. One of the prominent effects of this drug, which was found during a clinical trial, was the reduction of inflammation and retinal thickness in patients with Diabetic retinopathy.
