Prediction of harvesting 6 tons of saffron from Sabzevar agricultural farms
Director of Agricultural Jihad said:
This year, it is predicted that 6 tons of saffron will be harvested from 1,500 hectares of cultivated area of this city.
Mansour Barghomadi, stating that the sixth section of Sabzevar city is one of the main centers of saffron production in the province, said:
Currently, about 80% of saffron cultivation lands in the west of the province are located in the sixth section
and 3,800 saffron work in this section They cultivate saffron.
The director of Sabzevar Agricultural Jihad continued:
considering the suitable water resources,
the development of saffron cultivation in the central part of this city is on the agenda of Agricultural Jihad.

Sabzevar city, located in the west of Khorasan Razavi province and 220 km away from Mashhad,
has an area of 20.628 square kilometers,
an altitude of 977.6 meters above sea level and its highest point in the Jaghtai mountain range is 2924 meters high.
