Majidi said that the planting of saffron has been widespread, said that the water consumption of this product is low compared to other products.

He said that in this city saffron fields irrigate saffron 2 to 4 times a year in winter, which is economical.

Majidi said that pistachio saffron was prepared from fields in the city, in particular, Dashtkhak city of Zarand, said: Considering the high income generation and low water requirement, this product is a good option for the development of the region.
