Rahimzadeh said that saffron cultivation in the future will become one of the main crops in the city, he said: saffron bulbs yield more than seven years of production, and its major economic performance since the fourth year, which is expected to yield more than four Kilograms
He stated that the cultivation of saffron bulbs started from July until October, while the harvest is also 40 days after the end of the cultivation in early November.
Rahimzadeh added: The cultivar of cultivated onion in the middle of the city has a greater resistance to tensions, pests and diseases, and the saffron produced from it has a high quality flavor, which has a good market penetration and the water needs of this plant compared to other Plants are less.

Rahimzadeh said: The maximum water requirement of this product is three times a year, and each ha produces a permanent and seasonal job for about 30 people per hectare.
He reminded: For each hectare of land, about 3.5 tons of onions are needed that better be obtained from similar climates.
