Harvesting 21 tons of saffron from agricultural fields in Neyshabur

He continued: The cultivation area of saffron in Nishabur this year increased by 60 hectares to 6,165 hectares. Director of Agricultural Jihad, Nishabur, said: Saffron yield in this city increased by 3 kg and 500 g dry saffron per hectare per hectare, and a total of 21 tons of saffron was harvested.
Farahmand Rad said: Due to low precipitation in the fall and winter of last year, full irrigation by farmers, as well as severe summer heat, reduced the city’s yield and production. Therefore, the use of modern irrigation methods, proper nutrition, the fight against weed grass and the provision of technical advice and technical advice to protect saffron.
He noted that 3.8 tons of saffron were bought as a guarantee from farmers in the city and 100 percent of their claims were paid.
